iOS approval still pending. new developer account got approved, but we're bumping into issues with Apple's Sign In that we’re still debugging..
next for AutoDial: get iOS approved → launch to the waitlist → post a demo → try short-form videos.
👨⚖️ auctioning podzilla.ai
we got an idea to auction out one of the projects that we previously worked on, decided on, Podzilla (Josh Pigford, the reverse auction sensei, was the inspiration).
basically, it starts at $10,000 and drops $1 every 10 seconds:
the basic idea is: if you’ve ever wanted to work on a side-gig, but aren’t technical — here’s your chance. you get to own a ready-made product (so 0 technical risk) and focus on selling.
it’s an experiment. you get to bid your own price..
.. and if no one buys it, it goes all the way down to $1, so you can potentially own this business for just $1.
that will likely be the first bit of revenue that we drive for any of these AI projects.
not a pretty update this week (7 hours spent, $0 revenue earned), but hopefully next week we'll have a bit of revenue.
you know, i kind of feel down whenever we don't ship stuff. we barely shipped anything the entire week, so it kind of feels like … wasted? but… like, what's the point in shipping if you're not going to actually make any money out of it? that's really the goal here is to figure out a way to consistently make money.
so.. i tell myself it's okay if we have weeks where we ship less or don't ship at all - as long as we're focused on the right objective.
